NNDC-IF is excited to introduce its new complimentary counseling program to encourage the mental well-being of its growing community! Please choose a provider below to schedule a complimentary 30-minute or 1-hour counseling session. You may use these counseling sessions to discuss concerns, goals, and questions. You may also use it if you feel the need to simply speak to someone about your day. Positive mental health is important, and each individual’s needs are unique. We are happy to provide this platform to best serve your health needs.

Dr. Aastha Sachdeva

Dr. Aastha Sachdeva is a Counseling Psychologist with over 16 years of experience in counseling and psychology education. She conducts trainings and workshops for the development of soft skills and emotional intelligence to enable her clients to deal effectively with concerns in their social, professional and personal lives. She provides both online and one-to-one counseling for stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, conflicts among family members, career planning, college admissions, interview preparation sessions, and more. She has spoken about mental health awareness on NDTV, and is the recipient of an award from MHRD for her contributions in psychology education.

Dr. Aayam Gupta

Dr. Aayam Gupta is a multifaceted talent with more than 15 years of experience in AYUSH, public health policy and management, medical law and ethics, and yoga. His core skills include management and administration, epidemiology, biostatistics and IT tools, medicine (both Indian and western), health promotion, dietetics and nutrition, yoga, medical anthropology, gender studies, law and ethics in healthcare and medicine, environmental health, health technology, and communication. He has extensive experience in promoting yoga in different countries like Peru and Fiji. In fact, he was appointed Cultural Ambassador of India to Fiji in yoga studies.

Dr. Alok Jyoti Sahoo

Dr. Alok Jyoti Sahoo is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 18 years of experience in the field of mental health. Dr. Sushil Kumar Sompur

Dr. Sushil Kumar Sompur is a Psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical experience. He is currently working as a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at Antahkarana Clinic in Karnataka. He served as a Resident Fellow in child psychiatry at the University of Utah in the US. He is experienced in adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, sleep and sexual disorders, addiction medicine, and adolescent and child psychiatry.

Mrs. Rupali Gwalre Mohbe

Mrs. Rupali Gwalre Mohbe has over 19 years of experience being a Psychologist & Counselor, NLP Trainer (ABNLP), a Certified Hypnotherapist, and an Advanced Life Coach. She is also the Director of “YOUNG BUZZ” in Goa, which is a center for mental health and well-being. She has a specialization in psychometric testing, adult and adolescent issues, mental health, corporate training, career counseling, life skills, and learning disabilities and its remedies. She is an RCI-registered Rehabilitation Psychologists and has conducted over 100 programs for participants like educators, entrepreneurs, and corporate offices. Mrs. Sadhna Prashar

Mrs. Sadhna Prashar is a counselor in Birmingham, United Kingdom with over 15 years of experience. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling Society. Being an Integrative Counselor, she has experience in primary care, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and various other modalities. She also provides counseling services for adolescents, elders, parents, and anger management.
Mrs. Prashar is also a mindfulness expert and holds mental wellbeing workshops. She specializes in bereavement counselling, having 15 years of experience working with the Solihull Bereavement Counselling Service at NHS Solihull Hospital. She has worked with adolescents and children in schools and has her own private practice.

Dr. Shambhavi Samir

Shambhavi is the creatrix of “Uurja Manifest the Light Within,” a virtual and holistic studio. She earned a Ph.D. in Psychology, as well as an MBA in Human Resources. Shambhavi has also had first-hand training experiences in various healing modules, including art-based therapy, hypnotherapy, the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and more. She served as a visiting counselor at the Indian Air Force Station, the Naval Base of Jamnagar, Essar’s Nand Vidya Niketan School in Jamnagar, the Sunshine Worldwide School in Goa, and the Matruchaya orphanage in Goa. Additionally, Shambhavi served as a hypnotherapist and EFT practitioner at a wellness retreat center in Goa. Shambhavi has conducted several training modules, referred to as awakening sessions, that have covered topics like adolescent issues, stress, marital conflict, and internet dependency/addiction (which also happened to be her area of study during her Ph.D. program). Presently, she is associated with NGOs in Mumbai and Guwahati, which cater to mental health services for cancer patients.

Dr. Anjula Siddartha

Anjula Siddartha, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist living in Canada. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick, Canada. Currently, in private practice, Dr. Siddhartha is offering pro bono services to frontline workers, and offers an eclectic approach to treating depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, chronic pain, addiction, and those who have special needs or are intellectually disabled.

Dr. Siddhartha provides individual, family, and group therapy for addiction and suicidal behaviors among teenagers, behavior modification programs with the intellectually disabled, and psychotherapy for serious mental illnesses. She also conducts therapy for lifestyle, anxiety, and anger management, as well as workshops and webinars. She practices cognitive behaviour therapy, motivational enhancement therapy, and mindfulness.

Dr. Siddhartha serves as a board member of the Schizophrenia Society of New Brunswick, John Howard Society, and a member of Chatham Rotary Club. She has also published various articles in Canadian newspapers, where she writes about mental health guidelines individuals can use in their daily lives.

Through NNDC-IF, she hopes to serve fellow Indians. She can be reached for consultation regarding programs for the incarcerated population, suicide prevention, and anxiety management.
